Order Of St George is the Cup topweight..

Dual Irish St Leger winner Order Of St George has been given top weight of 58kg in the Melbourne Cup.

Hartnell is the Caulfield Cup topweight with 58kg, 1-1/2 kilograms more than 2016 Melbourne Cup winner Almandin.

Racing Victoria’s chief handicapper Greg Carpenter also announced on Tuesday the Caulfield Cup winner will not be penalised for the Melbourne Cup if it already has 56kg or more.
