7 TROMMELSCHLAGEN chased home SNITZKRAFT when resuming, and held is ground ok in the straight. Second up last prep, he was just beaten into third on a soft track. He gets similar conditions here second up, and can figure in the finish.

I’m expecting 6 FAIRLIGHTING to improve for here with the wet track and step up in trip. Was held up approaching the corner last time, and didn’t really get going until late. Should settle on speed and hard to beat.

10 BAR FLY BARRISTER although the form says he ran last, was solid enough through the line last time, and this race could be just a real slog on the heavy track., that will suit him. His 1 start on a heavy track, placed second at the sunny coast, so conditions suit here.
