The punters who followed the money trail are smiling now

The punters who followed the money at Mount Gambier were rewarded with Jack In The Ditch saluting after an absolute pearler from jockey Dean Holland.

Sensationally backed in the hours before jump time from $14 into $4.2 the underperforming maiden up until today eased marginally to start $4.6 and paying $4.7 on the local tote.

According to trainer Paul Preusker, “it won’t be the last win that’s for sure”.

Punters should stick to www.justracing.com.au as it’s where you find the horses that are backed by the right people will be published.

HUGE GO AS $$$$$$ KEEP ROLLING IN

On what is supposed to be a lazy Thursday it has turned into an afternoon of interest with a HUGE GO at Mount Gambier races.

A 14 start maiden Jack In The Ditch now with the Paul Preusker stable at Horsham has met with huge support firming from $14 into $4.2 and no bookie has been spared.

Jack In The Ditch will cross the border from Victoria to today’s South Australian meeting at Mount Gambier and if the money is right they may need a bigger horse float to get the cash back across to Victoria.

“The tip has gone wild as every bet we have written for the past hour has been on Jack In The Ditch” Duncan McRae from www.bluebet.com.au said.

Preusker has taken over the training of the 4yo gelding recently from fellow Horsham conditioner Greg Baker and even though Jack In The Ditch doesn’t meet the strongest opposition in todays maiden he must be doing showing something with the amount of money that keeps pouring in with every wagering operator.

The race is set to jump local time at 1:35pm but those on the east coast its half hour later at 2.05pm.
