Two Seymour trainers to face RAD Board

Victorian trainers Mark Thomas and Shannon Hope face conduct charges over two separate altercations with each other.

Thomas has been charged for an incident on October 9 last year with stewards alleging he went to the Seymour stables of Lee and Shannon Hope and engaged in a verbal altercation with the latter while in possession of a firearm.

Stewards allege Hope engaged in a verbal altercation with Thomas at trackwork at Seymour on February 6 before striking him on the left side of his face.

The Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board will hear the improper conduct charges brought against the two on a date to be determined.
