Jay Ok was placed five times in a row leading into the Group 1 Chariots Of Fire last week.
The four year old gelding was far from disgraced when beaten 7.5 metres by Expensive Ego and he will appreciate the big drop in class as well as the draw on the pegs for this event.

No. 3 Tasty Delight – Bet Now: $2.80
The key to the Group 1 NSW Derby is the draw for Tasty Delight who has proven that he can control a race from the front.
I don’t think he’ll have any trouble finding the front and he will be very difficult to get past as the round the turn.
Menangle- Race 7 9:36PM AEST
No. 4 Expensive Ego – Bet Now: $8.00
This a truly excellent edition of the Miracle Mile and if you can look past the favourite King Of Swing, there is plenty of value.
Expensive Ego is the one to cause an upset for mine having won 12 of his 16 career starts including the Group 1 Chariots Of Fire last start by almost three metres.
Unlike a few of these top chances, he is a genuine sprinter, and he will have plenty of options from the good draw.
