Thursday will see a host of quality harness races with our focus being on the meetings at Penrith in New South Wales. Take a look at our harness tips and best bets for Thursday 27th August, 2020.
Penrith – Race 1 5:46PM AEST
No. 5 Metaki Majic – Bet Now: $2.50
Metaki Majic has just one win to her name from 17 career race starts but she has been racing well so far this prep under her new trainer in Craig Cross.
She has placed at both her starts this prep and she again looks well placed to go close in this contest.
Penrith – Race 3 6:49PM AEST
BEST BET: No. 8 Rock Of Delight – Bet Now: $3.40
Rock Of Delight has managed three wins from his last six outings including an impressive win at this track last time out.
In a big boost to his chances tonight, he will jump from the same barrier as he did last start and this really does not look much tougher.
He is the one to beat.
Penrith – Race 4 7:18PM AEST
No. 2 Royal Bengal – Bet Now: $3.10
Royal Bengal strung together two wins in a row earlier this prep and has been racing consistently without winning since then.
He ran a very slick time when just missing at this track last start and there has been a stack of money for him early in betting, suggesting he will run well here.
