Alabama Express has upstaged his older and more experienced weight-for-age rivals to win the Group One CF Orr Stakes at Caulfield.
The only three-year-old in the autumn carnival curtain-raiser over 1400m, Alabama Express overcame the toughest run in an emphatic display under jockey Michael Dee.
After sitting three-wide in a genuinely run race, Alabama Express defeated Fierce Impact and Kings Will Dream.
