Blake Shinn is set to take advantage of the rescheduled Rosehill meeting on Tuesday, stepping in for the unavailable James McDonald.
McDonald, who had several key rides at the original Saturday fixture, is committed to duties in Dubai and unable to compete on the rescheduled date.
Shinn will partner with Chris Waller-trained River Of Stars in the $1.5 million Group 1 Tancred Stakes, while Zac Lloyd will replace McDonald aboard the Waller-trained Movin’ Out in the $750,000 Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes.
The postponement also allows Shinn to pursue a maiden Tancred Stakes victory after his commitment at Flemington last Saturday.
Additionally, Shinn will take over McDonald’s mounts in the Group 3 Star Kingdom Stakes aboard Kris Lees’ Brudenell and in the Group 3 TL Baillieu Handicap on Peter Snowden’s Quietly Arrogant.
Damian Lane also benefits, taking over McDonald’s ride on the second favourite, Scarlet Oak, in the Group 2 Emancipation Stakes, while he has additional rides for the Freedmans and Vinery Stud Stakes contender, Treasurethe Moment.
Lloyd also fills McDonald’s rides aboard King Of Thunder in the Group 2 Tulloch Stakes and Willaidow in the Group 3 Doncaster Prelude.
