I love backing staying horses inform and MONACO SNOB falls into that category having won his past three starts. He started the sequence at Ipswich over 2180m when coming from well back to sneak through and win before heading to the Sunshine Coast for two dominant wins the latest by two lengths with three lengths back to third. From a soft draw he should camp on the favourite Impavido and with the pull in weights run over him in the home straight.
RACE 2 NO.1 GUNTANTES
This colt might just be too quick for his opposition if the barrier trial ids anything to go by. GUNTANTES trialled nicely at Doomben a fortnight ago and after jumping fairly mustered brilliant speed to go through and lead and run fast time for the 840m trial. If he gets away cleanly and finds the front that will hopefully be the end of the section.
