Hiyaam has taken out the Group One Vinery Stud Stakes (2000m) at Rosehill with an emphatic front-running effort.
Jockey Michael Dee had the filly in front from the jump and she finished well ahead despite some fast finishing from Unforgotten and Aloisia in the minor placings.
“There was no speed in the race, so from the one pole just elected to roll forward and dictate terms and she was way too good in the end,” Dee said.
