Four-year-old Grunt has figured in a sudden form turnaround to win the Group One Makybe Diva Stakes.
Unplaced in two previous spring starts, Grunt relished a return to Flemington, the scene of his Group One Australian Guineas over the same distance last season.
Giving Damien Oliver his fifth win in the race, Grunt defeated the Caulfield Cup favourite Kings Will Dream with New Zealand stayer Jon Snow finishing third.
