The Gordon Richards-trained Gytrash is headed to The TAB Everest at Royal Randwick on October 17 with Inglis snaring the five-year-old gelding for their slot.
Gytrash has raced 19 times for eight wins, six seconds and four thirds with his most prominent win taking place last February in the 1000-metre Group 1 Black Caviar Lightning at Flemington.
Aside from the Black Caviar Lightning win, Gytrash enjoyed a terrific autumn campaign in Melbourne finishing third to Bivouac in the Group 1 Newmarket Handicap at Flemington and second to Loving Gaby in the Group 1 William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley last March.
Gytrash returned to Adelaide in April with a commanding win in the Group 3 R.N. Irwin Stakes at Morphettville before finishing runner-up to Trekking in The Goodwood at Group 1 level in May.
TAB’s representative for The Everest, Nature Strip, is currently the $3 favourite.
