Trainer Matt Laurie gave spring hopefuls Treasurethe Moment, Vinrock and new stable addition See You In Heaven valuable race day experience with gallops between races at Caulfield.
Dual Oaks winner Treasurethe Moment worked solo, while Vinrock was paired with See You In Heaven, who joined Laurie’s team after being purchased by Yulong at the National Broodmares Sale.
“It was all about a bit of race day stimulation … if you get the opportunity to take them away and work them on a lovely surface, you should take that opportunity,” Laurie said.
Treasurethe Moment will resume in the Group 1 Memsie Stakes (1400m) on August 30, before progressing to the Makybe Diva Stakes (1600m) and Turnbull Stakes (2000m). She holds entries for both the Caulfield Cup (2400m) and Cox Plate (2040m).
Vinrock is slated to kick off in the Group 3 H D F McNeil Stakes (1200m) before a Sydney tilt at the Run To The Rose (1200m) and Golden Rose (1400m).
The Group 3 W W Cockram Stakes (1200m) is under consideration for See You In Heaven.
