Shillelagh leads home Waller G1 quinella

Former New Zealand mare Shillelagh has led home a Chris Waller-trained quinella in the Group One Kennedy Mile at Flemington.

Ridden by Michael Dee, Shillelagh ($12) reeled in stablemate Tom Melbourne ($5) to claim the $1 million race.

Wyndspelle, a $41 chance, took the minor placing.
