RACE 5 NO.1 GOOD TIME CHARLIE
GOOD TIME CHARLIE steps out for the first time up here after formerly being trained by Joe Pride in Sydney. The 5yo is now with Michael Lakey and comes here having not raced since December 9 last year. He trialled back in April at Doomben and did so impressively but obviously things went amiss as his next trial wasn’t for three months. He is a handy galloper and he finds only a fair race here and if he’s near right he will be hard to beat.
RACE 7 NO.3 RECKLESS CHOICE
RECKLESS CHOICE incredibly has only won once in his ten starts which was two runs back at Ipswich when he blew the field away by over five lengths. Last start he had to do work and battled away well. He was jumping from 1360m to 1660m so that run should have him ready to fire today.
RACE 8 NO.10 ALL IN THE REFLEXS
ALL IN THE REFLEXS is having his second start in Queensland after being transferred from Jason Coyle to Steven O’Dea with fair Sydney form and on his day he is capable of running very well. His first run up here was very good when coming from well back to finish midfield. The step up to 1400m and slight drop in grade should have him hard to hold out.
