Blue Diamond Stakes Free Tips, Bets and Field Preview – 2021

The Neds Blue Diamond Stakes is one of the Autumn Carnival’s most highly anticipated races and a typically strong edition of the two-year-old feature headlines a massive card at Caulfield on Saturday.

At the beginning of the Neds Blue Diamond Series, it looked an open and shut case – Enthaar would be winning, but as the weeks have progressed, several other winning chances have emerged and there is now a case to be made for plenty.

I managed to find Tagaloa at any old price last year, and you can find my 2021 Neds Blue Diamond Stakes Tips below.

Blue Diamond Stakes – Winner

No. 13 Enthaar – Bet Now: $2.45

Regardless of those that have emerged since her resuming effort, I simply cannot look past Enthaar in the Neds Blue Diamond Stakes.

The Maher & Eustace-trained filly stamped herself as one to watch with an utterly dominant performance and win in the Group 3 Gimcrack in Sydney during the Spring Carnival, and she absolutely toyed with them in the Group 3 Chairman’s three weeks ago.

She’ll enjoy plenty of natural improvement for that effort, she obviously gets into this race well under the conditions and Mark Zahra retains the ride.

Blue Diamond Stakes – 2nd

No. 7 Artorius – Bet Now: $9.50

It’s a decent step up in class, but Artorius is clearly an above-average galloper and I think that he can run a cheeky race in the Neds Blue Diamond.

The Flying Artie colt tuned up with a decent effort for second behind Jigsaw on debut at Geelong before putting paid to his rivals at Sandown last time out, greeting the judge close to five lengths in the clear of his closest rivals.

With further improvement and a clear run, I think that he is one of the better double-figures chances in Neds Blue Diamond Stakes betting ($15 at publish).

Blue Diamond Stakes – 3rd

No. 1 General Beau – Bet Now: $6.00

General Beau is yet to run a bad race and has the notable advantage of Jamie Kah the saddle for his run in the Neds Blue Diamond Stakes.

The Brazen Beau colt has made four appearances at the races since making his debut in September last year, winning on three occasions in impressive fashion.

He has won each of his two starts back this time in, both being the colts & geldings lead-up races for the Neds Blue Diamond Stakes, and he clearly just knows how to win.

With even luck, I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again.

Blue Diamond Stakes – 4th

No. 10 Marine One – Bet Now: $81.00

I’m also going to have a crack at one at a serious price in Neds Blue Diamond Stakes betting; Marine One, who is available at $41 at publish.

He remains a three-start maiden, but Marine One looks to be a runner with plenty of ability, and he has raced well around some of the Neds Blue Diamond Stakes market leaders during his short career.

He has tuned up for two starts back this prep and made up plenty of ground late in the colts and gelding Prelude a couple of weeks ago.

The small rise in trip will suit and I simply cannot count him out.
