No. 4 Extreme Warrior – Bet Now: $5.00
This is a very open edition of the Blue Diamond Preview and you can make a case for a number of different runners.
Extreme Warrior showed a nice turn-of-foot to finish second on debut behind Fake Love in the Debutant Stakes and he should take good improvement from that performance.
The Extreme Choice colt has plenty of upside and he might prove to be even better when he gets out over an extended trip.
Caulfield – Race 4 2:55PM AEST
No. 2 Frost Flowers – Bet Now: $2.10
Frost Flowers won the New Year Sprint in impressive fashion and there is no doubt that she is a very exciting filly.
She showed plenty of professionalism in her debut effort and she should get a lovely run in transit right on the speed with Jamie Kah in the saddle.
The Frosted filly is deserving of her status as a dominant favourite.
Caulfield – Race 6 4:05PM AEST
No. 4 Morvada – Bet Now: $5.00
Morvada doesn’t generally run well first-up and it has been a while between race wins, but it wouldn’t surprise too see him produce a forward performance in the John Dillon Stakes.
He ran well in tougher races than this at the end of last campaign and he has won at Caulfield in the past.
There isn’t a huge amount of speed in this contest and Mark Zahra should be able to dictate terms in the early stages.
Caulfield – Race 7 4:40PM AEST
BEST BET: No. 4 From Within – Bet Now: $10.00
The W.J. Adams Stakes is an interesting race and From Within is a better chance than her current odds of $10 suggest.
From Within isn’t the most consistent mare in the world, but she is capable of a high-rating performance on her day and her first-up record is strong.
She does have speed to burn and it would not surprise to see her record an upset win.
