No. 2 Samizdat – Bet Now: $3.30
Samizdat is well-placed to return to winning form in the Old Comrade Stakes.
He wasn’t beaten far in the Grandstand Cup last start and a repeat of that effort would have him right in the mix.
I am confident that he is the class runner in this field and he should have every possible chance in the run.
Launceston – Race 7 5:54PM AEST
BEST BET: No. 1 Lesnar – Bet Now: $5.00
Lesnar doesn’t win out of turn, but he finds himself in a very winnable contest at Launceston this afternoon.
He wasn’t beaten far in his past two race starts and this race does look like a genuine drop in class.
Barrier four is ideal and he will have every possible chance with Daniel Ganderton in the saddle.
