Bygone Era is deserving of his status as a dominant favourite for this contest at Mildura.
He finished a credible second on debut at Swan Hill and he should take good improvement from that performance.
Barrier three is ideal and he should have every possible chance with Harry Coffey in the saddle.
Mildura – Race 4 2:30PM AEST
No. 7 Flying Nostra – Bet Now: $1.80
This is not a particularly strong race and it might give Flying Nostra her best possible chance to claim a maiden race win.
She has form around some decent horses and she should now be at peak fitness.
The Nostradamus filly may never have a better chance to get that first victory on the board.
Mildura – Race 7 4:00PM AEST
No. 1 Mccain – Bet Now: $2.40
It is no surprise that there has been strong early money for Mccain in this contest.
I was impressed with his last start effort at Swan Hill and this race does look like a genuine drop in quality,
On his best form he should prove too classy for what is far from the strongest field.
Mildura – Race 8 4:30PM AEST
No. 3 The Enzo – Bet Now: $6.00
The Enzo doesn’t win out of turn, but this does look like an ideal race for him.
There is an argument to be made that he is racing in close to career best form and he comes into this race on the back of two second place finishes.
$5 is a right price in what is a fairly open race.
