No. 10 Not A Zak – Bet Now: $SP.00
Not A Zak was a touch disappointing at Bendigo last start, but he did have excuses in the run and his win before that at Moe was excellent.
Daniel Stackhouse will be able to ride him aggressively from the wide barrier draw and he is the value runner in what is a very open race.
Yarra Valley – Race 6 4:10PM AEDT
BEST BET: No. 4 Skyman – Bet Now: $SP.00
Skyman is deserving of his status as a dominant favourite in the Yarra Valley Cup.
He beat a stronger field than this to win at Flemington last start and on exposed form he does have a genuine class edge over the rest of this field.
Barrier one is ideal and he should have every possible chance in the run.
Yarra Valley – Race 7 4:50PM AEDT
No. 10 Rousseau– Bet Now: $SP.00
Rousseau is a better horse than his current record suggests and trainer Chris Waller has found a nice race for him.
He scored a classy win at Pakenham a couple of starts ago and he ran on nicely to finish third at Ladbrokes Park Sandown last start.
Damien Thornton will settle him in the second half of the field from barrier nine and he will be storming home late.
Yarra Valley – Race 8 5:30PM AEDT
No. 5 Dark Horse – Bet Now: $SP.00
Dark Horse has been racing well without winning this campaign and he has an excellent chance to claim a maiden race win this afternoon.
He has generally raced in tougher company than this and he has form around a number of talented horses.
With even luck in running he will prove very tough to beat.
