Sale – Race 2 1:30PM AEST
No. 6 Pentegra – Bet Now: $SP.00
Pentegra showed good ability on debut at Donald and he should take good improvement out of that run.
The fact that he was able to settle right on the speed is a positive and he is drawn to get a lovely run in transit from barrier two.
$5.50 is a nice price in what is an open race.
Sale – Race 4 2:30PM AEST
No. 2 Bobsled – Bet Now: $4.40
Bobsled has proven to be a frustrating horse for punters during his racing career to date, but this could prove to be the perfect race for him.
He has been racing well without winning in tougher grade than this and he will have every possible chance from barrier three with Laura Lafferty in the saddle.
The Snitzel gelding may never have a better chance to claim a maiden race win.
Sale – Race 5 3:00PM AEST
No. 9 Peejay’s Off – Bet Now: $3.60
Peejay’s Off hasn’t produced a bad performance this campaign and she has form around some talented gallopers.
This race isn’t any tougher and Damien Oliver in the saddle is a positive.
She will settle in the second half of the field from barrier ten, but she does have a nice turn-of-foot.
Sale – Race 7 4:00PM AEST
No. 9 Button Express – Bet Now: $2.70
Button Express returned to the races with a good performance at Morphettville and a repeat of that sort of effort would make her tough to beat.
She has generally raced in tougher company than this and she should take good improvement from her first-up effort.
Barrier ten isn’t ideal and she will need some luck in running, but I am confident that she is the best mare in this field.
