Sale – Race 5 2:00PM AEST
BEST BET: No. 3 Thomas Hawk – Bet Now: $6.00
This looks like an ideal race for Thomas Hawk and he is great value at his current quote of $6.
He broke his maiden with a win at Cranbourne two starts ago and he chased home the talented Beau Rossa at Ladbrokes Park Sandown last start.
Barrier six is ideal and it would be a surprise if he didn’t factor in the finish.
Sale – Race 6 3:30PM AEST
No. 3 Arctic Wolf – Bet Now: $4.40
I am confident that Arctic Wolf is a better horse than his current record suggests and he is well-placed to return to winning form.
He has generally raced in tougher company than this and I still think that he has the upside to improve.
The wide barrier draw means he will get back in the second half of the field, but he will be flying home late.
Sale – Race 7 4:00PM AEST
No. 7 Audacious Heart – Bet Now: $3.60
Audacious Heart is a consistent filly that is well-placed to return to winning form.
There was plenty to like about her first-up effort at Cranbourne and she should take good improvement from that effort.
She will get back in the run, but she will be storming home late.

No. 4 Libertus – Bet Now: $2.60
Libertus showed plenty of classy on debut at Cranbourne and he is a gelding that still has plenty of upside.
The step-up to 1100 metres looks as though it will suit him and if he can improve on his debut effort he will go to a level that will prove to be very tough to beat.
