Quantum Mechanic is a much better horse than his first-up effort indicates and he is over the odds at his current quote of $7.50. This is a genuine drop in class and on his best form he does have a genuine edge over the rest of this field. Barrier five is ideal and he should have every possible chance with Michael Walker in the saddle.

No. 7 Lake’s Folly – Bet Now: $3.50
Lake’s Folly has shown good ability during his racing career to date and he will return to the races in a very winnable contest. This is the weakest race that he has contested and if he does bring his best form he should prove far too good for the rest of this field. He will settle in the second half of the field and will be flying home late.

No. 1 Moi Choux – Bet Now: $5.00
Moi Choux had no luck in running at Echuca first-up and he should take good improvement from that performance. He started his racing career with two impressive wins and if be brings that form to the races this afternoon he will prove tough to beat. Barrier two is ideal for the Jimmy Choux gelding and he will get the run of the race.
