BEST BET: No. 1 D’jumbuck – Bet Now: $2.20
This is far from the strongest race and D’jumbuck has an excellent chance to claim a maiden race win.
He has form around some good horses and he did have excuses when he was beaten at Geelong last start.
Jamie Kah in the saddle is an obvious positive and he will have every possible chance in the run.
Sandown – Race 7 7:00PM AEST
No. 4 Dance To Dubai – Bet Now: $7.00
The Peter Moody stable has been in excellent form over the past week and Dance To Dubai is great value at her current quote of $7.50.
There was plenty to like about her win at Ladbrokes Park Sandown a couple of starts ago and she is a better horse than her last start effort at Flemington suggests.
Will Price will roll forward in the early stages of this race and she will give her rivals something to chase.
Sandown – Race 8 7:30PM AEST
No. 6 Need New Friends – Bet Now: $4.00
Need New Friends has been racing well this campaign and she has an excellent chance to return to winning form tonight.
She chased home Score at Caulfield last start and there is no horse of that quality in this field.
Barrier five is ideal and she maps to get a lovely run in transit with Damian Lane in the saddle.
Launceston – Race 5 7:40PM AEST
EACH WAY: No. 1 Swoop Dog – Bet Now: $2.35
Swoop Dog is the horse to beat in the Launceston Guineas and is deserving of his status as favourite.
He has improved each time that he has been seen at the races and there was plenty to like about the way that he put away his rivals in the Tasmanian Guineas.
The step-up in trip should not be an issue for him and he maps to get a lovely run in transit with Kyle Maskiell in the saddle.
