RACE 3 NO.4 KILLERMAN’S RUN
As a punter I love winners and KILLERMAN’S RUN is a winner of five of his 12 starts including a last start over this course and distance by six and three quarter lengths. Over the 900m here at the coast Killerman’s Run has raced four times for three wins and a third. There obviously good speed here but he will likely lead or sit right on the hammer of who does and I think be hard to beat.
RACE 8 NO.1 DAL CIELO
Kris Lees has worked out which of his horses fit into Queensland racing pretty well and DAL CIELO looks to be one of them. He is a quirky horse that is hard to catch but I am confident if he repeats either of his last two efforts at Randwick and Rosehill he will get the money here. Stepping up to 1200m and from a nice gate he should settle in behind and be ready to unleash.
RACE 9 NO.7 JAKE’S HILL
JAKE’S HILL will likely be down in the southern states for some better class races in the coming months as long as he can show he is worthy. He resumes here for his second Australian preparation off the back of two trials. Chris Waller has often spelled a few of these Europeans in Queensland to get some sun on their backs to help them bring out their best. There looks a genuine tempo on paper that should allow Jake’s Hill to wind up strongly.
