Vinery Stud Stakes Free Tips, Bets and Field Preview – 2021

The Vinery Stud Stakes is typically one of the Autumn Carnival’s most open Group 1 contests, and ten three-year-old fillies will chase success at the highest level at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday.

The impressive Harmony Rose has opened favourite in Vinery Stud Stakes betting for Mark Newnham, but there’s no doubt that she’ll need to be at her best to beat all of these rivals.

Check out 2021 Vinery Stud Stakes tips below provided by Neds.

Vinery Stud Stakes – Winner

No. 10 Princess Rhaenys – Bet Now: $17.00
I’m a firm believer that nearly every filly has claims on winning this race, and I’m electing to put Princess Rhaenys on top at a lovely price ($17 at publish).

Princess Rhaenys has only made two appearances at the races so far, but she broke her maiden in impressive fashion over a mile at Ballarat when resuming in late February, and breeding suggests she’ll relish getting out in trip.

In recent history, the Vinery Stud Stakes has been won by the likes of Fenway, Single Gaze, Montoya’s Secret and even Shout The Bar at a big price, and I’m confident that this filly can join that list.

Vinery Stud Stakes – 2nd

No. 3 Hungry Heart – Bet Now: $6.00
It took her a couple to tune up when resuming this time, but Hungry Heart was a very impressive third-up winner, and the Vinery Stud Stakes actually represents the perfect Group 1 target for her.

The Frankel filly has been a good horse for Chris Waller since making her debut, but she proved to be her own worst enemy in the spring and finished second in three-consecutive black type races, including the Flight Stakes.

She finished midfield at her first two back this time, but won the Group 2 Phar Lap Stakes last time out, and breeding suggests that 2000m will be perfect for her.

Vinery Stud Stakes – 3rd

No. 1 Personal – Bet Now: $5.50
The Oaks winner has improved for two starts back this time and represents as a winning chance in the Vinery Stud Stakes.

Personal really stamped herself as a filly to follow when she filled the minors behind Tagaloa in the Neds Blue Diamond Stakes last year, but she went to another level during a spring campaign that was highlighted by her first win at the highest level.

She charged in to finish second in The Vanity when resuming this time, she finished third in the Kewney Stakes last time out and third-up under James McDonald, she looks ready to strike.

Vinery Stud Stakes – 4th

No. 2 Harmony Rose – Bet Now: $2.70
It appears as though Harmony Rose doesn’t know how to run a bad race, and there’s no reason that I can find why she can’t run into the Vinery Stud Stakes first four.

The three-year-old daughter of Glass Harmonium is yet to miss placing in five career starts, winning three times and finished third in the Randwick Guineas last time out; form that has held up with the second-placed Mo’unga winning last weekend’s Rosehill Guineas.

I like that she’s had a trial since that effort and Josh Parr keeps the ride from the rails draw.
