Trainer Logan McGill to face RAD Board

Trainer Logan McGill will have to front the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board after being charged over a positive swab to a corticosteroid returned by one of his runners.

The prohibited substance, Triamcinolone Acetonide, was detected in a blood sample taken from the McGill-trained Integrated after his third in a maiden at Stony Creek on March 28.

Racing Victoria stewards have charged McGill with presenting the horse to race with a prohibited substance in his system.

McGill has also been charged with failing to record the intra-articular injection of Kenacort (Triamcinolone Acetonide) and Hyaluronic Acid to the stifles of Integrated and the amount administered, in his treatment diary on March 14..

A date for the RAD Board hearing is yet to be determined.
