Warning has relished an extended distance and a wet track to win the $2 million Victoria Derby at Flemington.
Ridden by Damien Oliver, Warning outstayed his rivals to win with authority in one of Australia’s oldest Classics over 2500m.
Warning held a decisive margin over Southern Moon with Soul Patch finishing in the minor placing.
