WYONG
TUESDAY 24 JULY
TRACK: GOOD 4
BEST BETS:
RACE 2 NO.4 KATGULLY RED
KAYGULLY RED did a good job first up from a seven week break to run down the leader at Kembla when looking as though the run would bring his fitness levels on. He drops back 100m which I don’t see as ideal but with the small field and a couple that will run along he should find the perfect stalking spot from his perfect barrier.
RACE 3 NO.6 OXFORD TYCOON
The Kim Waugh stable has always held OXFORD TYCOON in high regard having kicked off his career back in February in the listed Lonhro Plate against some top class opponents. He was beaten just on a length in the group 2 Skyline stakes before heading the paddock. I tread carefully with 2yo form but his latest trial suggests he is back in good order and is sure to be hard to beat here.
