 HAWKESBURY

THURSDAY 26 OCTOBER

TRACK:                        SOFT 5 (5.09)                          RAIL:    TRUE

BEST BET:

RACE 1                        NO.6    OLEKSANDRA

6 OLEKSANDRA by Animal Kingdom is prepared by Bjorn Baker and turns up here on debut. Her recent barrier trial at Hawkesbury was outstanding after initially jumping well was restrained to the back before showing a very impressive turn of speed when allowed a little bit of rein. She looked new as you would expect but looked stacked full of ability. The 3 Eleazar looks the only danger and he will be the one the filly will need to run down.

VALUE BET:

RACE 5                        NO.8    EXTREME MEASURE

8 EXTREME MEASURE has raced once finishing a creditable fourth beaten two lengths at Newcastle behind a pretty handy one in High Power. That was three weeks ago and from an ideal gate here and an extra 100m I think she only needs to have taken experience from that debut run to pose a major threat.
