Flemington trainer Danny O’Brien is sitting high with Vow and Declare, pictured, taking out an exciting Lexus Melbourne Cup at the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival, giving champion jockey Craig Williams his first Cup success.

Two days later Danny O’Brien took out the Victoria Crown Oaks with Miami Bound, having previously won the Wakeful Stakes, giving him four wins, three seconds and a third for the four-day Carnival.
