More Prophets is the only first starter in the second event of the day at Wyong this afternoon however her recent trials suggests she is ready to win on debut. The filly by Smart Missile has taken a long time to get to the race track but the early money suggests she is ready to perform first up.
Wyong – Race 4 3:05PM AEST
BEST BET: No. 1 Loves To Rock – Bet Now: $2.30
Loves To Rock has managed three wins from her 14 race starts to date including an impressive 1.8 length win at Newcastle last time out at the 1850m. She has performed well in town in the past and this looks a very winnable race for her despite the big weight. She should be plenty fit for this assignment and she is the one to beat.
Wyong – Race 5 3:40PM AEST
EACH WAY: No. 5 Temple Run – Bet Now: $6.00
Temple Run put together three very solid performances this prep before being given a freshen up heading into this assignment. The lightly raced five year old gelding is yet to miss the placings in five career runs and I love the fact that he has had a barrier trial in between runs. He represents good value in this contest and is worth an each way play.
Wyong – Race 6 4:15PM AEST
EACH WAY: No. 4 Belle De Vega – Bet Now: $7.50
The Kim Waugh trained Belle De Vega has been racing well without winning so far this prep and she represents good value in the final race of the day. They were off and gone rounding the turn at Gosford last start however this four year old Lope De Vega mare chased home gamely to finish fourth. She should be ready to peak at this stage in her prep and she a small each way bet is recommended.
