Pale King made his Australian racing debut with a tough win at Kembla Grange and he should take plenty of benefit from that run.

The imported galloper clearly has plenty of upside and this really doesn’t look like the strongest race.

He is an exciting horse to follow and I am interested to see how far he can get in his maiden Australian racing campaign.

Sandown – Race 6 6:00PM AEST

No. 6 Kaniva – Bet Now: $12.00

I am happy to oppose Agreeable in this contest and the $15 currently available for Kaniva is well and truly over the odds.

She finished a nice second behind Aquagirl at The Valley two starts ago and her last start effort at Ladbrokes Park Sandown was tough.

Patrick Moloney will take her straight to the front in the early stages of the race and she will give her rivals something to catch.

Sandown – Race 7 6:30PM AEST

BEST BET: No. 9 Zousonic – Bet Now: $5.00

Zousonic is well-placed to make a winning return to the races at Ladbrokes Park Sandown this afternoon.

She has generally raced in stronger company than this and her first-up record is strong.

Barrier five is ideal and she should get every possible chance in the run with Billy Egan in the saddle.

Sandown – Race 8 7:00PM AEST

No. 4 Arigato – Bet Now: $8.00

Arigato didn’t fire at Ladbrokes Park Sandown last start, but her two wins before that had been full of quality.

If she is able to return to a semblance of her best form, she would be right in this race and she represents simply outstanding value at her current quote of $9.
