Tuesday will see plenty of quality thoroughbred racing across the country with our focus being on the meeting at Bendigo in Victoria. Take a look at our horse racing tips and best bets for Wednesday 21st April, 2021.
Bendigo – Race 4 2:40PM AEST
BEST BET: No. 6 Yensir – Bet Now: $2.70
This will be used as a tune-up for Yensir before he contests the big jumps races during the Warrnambool Racing Carnival, but he still has the class to get the job done.
His form over the flat has been good since he made his Australian racing debut in January and he showed his quality when he beat Zed Edm and Lucques to win the Oakbank Von Doussa.
He is a very fit horse and he has an excellent chance to claim another race win.
Bendigo – Race 5 3:20PM AEST
No. 3 Cernan – Bet Now: $2.80
Cernan has been racing well without winning this campaign and he has an excellent chance to return to winning form this afternoon.
He has generally raced in tougher company than this and he should now be at peak fitness fourth-up.
Barrier two is ideal and he maps to get a lovely run in transit with Luke Nolen in the saddle.
Bendigo – Race 6 3:55PM AEST
No. 8 Montia – Bet Now: $3.70
I am confident that Montia is a better horse than her current record suggests.
She has generally raced in stronger company than this and she should now be at peak fitness third-up.
Barrier four is perfect for her and she will have every possible chance in the run.
Bendigo – Race 7 4:30PM AEST
No. 11 Dirty Deeds – Bet Now: $2.60
It has been a while between race wins for Dirty Deeds, but this might be his chance to return to winning form.
He has form around some quality gallopers this campaign and there is not a huge amount of quality in this field.
Jamie Kah in the saddle is a huge advantage.
