A full field of 20 plus three emergencies has been declared for the $3 million Doncaster Mile at Randwick while 13 will take their places in the Australian Derby.

The Doncaster and Derby are two of four Group One races at Randwick on Saturday for the first day of The Championships along with the ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes and TJ Smith Stakes.

The Kris Lees-trained Le Romain is the Doncaster favourite ahead of Tuesday’s barrier draw.
