Race 2 -DE LITTLE ENGINE $2.40, won from REFECTORY, LUCQUES.

De Little Engine had good support opening at $2.80 before starting at a clear $2.40 favourite with the unplaced Mujadale being the best backed runner being $7 into $3.60. Runner up Refectory had no support being $7 out to $15.

Race 3 – BOOKER $5.50, won from FREEZE OVER, I’LL HAVE A BIT.

The first 2 home were the ones punters wanted with the winner opening at $8 before starting at $5.50 with the runner up being $3.80 into $2.70. Unplaced Black And Tan had some specking.

Race 4 – INSPECTOR $7, won from COLDSTONE, GIVE US A GO.

Inspector had some support being backed from $9 into $7. Coldstone had some support at long odds with the best supported runner being the unplaced Tshahitsi.

Race 5 – DIVINE QUALITY $2.30, won from SUMMER GLEN, SAVAJU.

Divine Quality was easily the best supported runner opening at $3.80 before starting a clear $2.30 favourite. Unplaced runners Sallybrook and Mandee both had good support being $26 into $10 and $17 into $11 respectively.

Race 6 – HOT RUBY $5, won from SAVANNAH MOON, SHENANDOAH.

Hot Ruby had good early support moving from $7 into $3.20 before drifting late to start $5. Unplaced Monogram had very good backing opening $13 getting into $5.50 before getting back out to $8.50.

Race 7 – ZAMZAM $15, won from JUST HIFALUTIN, GREVISTE.

Zamzam had early support going from $17 into $9.50 then back out to start $15 with runner up Just Hifalutin being very well supported opening at $8 before starting at $4.60. Widgee Turf also had good support being $3.60 into $3.

Race 8 – CRYSTAL DREAMER $4.60, won from MALIBU STYLE, HUSSON EAGLE.

Crystal Dreamer was always solid around the $4.60 mark. The 3 best backed runners were the unplaced Nasdex who was $15 into $6.50, Rewarding Effort who was $21 into $11 and Sunday Escape who was $34 into $13. Under The Louvre was unwanted going from $7 to $21.

Race 9 – STORMSABREWING $4.40, won from SCAPA COVE, AMARELA.

Stormsabrewing had good support being $7 into $3.60 before starting $4.40 with the best supported runner being the unplaced Steggler who opened at $11 before starting $3.80 favourite. Others that had specking were Amarela, Scapa Cove and Kansas Sunflower.

The Money Was Right: Divine Quality had very good support being $3.80 into $2.30.

Left It In The Bag: Steggler was $11 into $3.80 before finishing unplaced.

Friendless: Under The Louvre was $7 out to $21

Race 1 – VIRIDINE $4.80, won from ENVY OF ALL, IPSO FACTOR.

Viridine was easily the best backed runner opening at $11 before starting at $4.80. Envy Of All was always solid in the market being $5 into $4.20. Others that had specking were Poetic Charmer and Manipulate.

Race 2 – O’LORDY $7, won from ATLANTIC SENTINEL, ACADEMY HILL.

O’Lordy was solid in the market being $8 into $7 with the best supported runner the unplaced Loves A Hassle opened at $7 before starting at $4.40.

Race 3 – BLACK ON GOLD $6, won from OCTAVIAN AUGUSTUS, OKLAHOMA GIRL.

Black On Gold was solid in the market opening at $5.50 getting into $4 then back out to $6 with Oklahoma Girl always solid around the $4 mark. Best backed runner was Power Law who was $13 into $8.

 

Race 4 – NEW UNIVERSE $4, won from KAWAIKINI, PASSAGE OF TIME.

New Universe had very good support being $11 into $4 with Passage Of Time also with good support being $15 into $4.80. Others who had specking were Kawaikini, Quick Feet and Samadoubt.

Race 5 – CANNYESCENT $3.60, won from CARELESS, KINGSGUARD.

Cannyescent was well backed opening $4.80 before starting at $3.60 with both placegetters being solid in the market. Unplaced Better Not Blue had good support being $7 into $5.

Race 6 – ROGUISH $6.50, won from SPEED HERO, CHANDANA.

Roguish was very well backed opening $17 before getting home at $6.50 with next best backed being Dreamforce who opened at $8 before starting $4.20 favourite. Chandana had good early support halving her opening quote and then getting back out 2 points to $5.

Race 7 – TOP OF MY LIST $6.50, won from ALLERGIC, JESSY BELLE.

The winner was always solid around the $6.50 – $7 mark. The best backed runner was the unplaced Jessy Belle who opened at $21 before halving her quote to start at $10 with New Tipperary also solid in the market being $5 into $3.40.

Race 8 – UNTAMED DIAMOND $6, won from FRILL SEEKING, KNIT ‘N’ PURL.

Untamed Diamond had early support being $7 into $4.80 before starting at $6 on the back of good support for Knit ‘n’ Purl who was $13 into $6. Torpenhow had good backing opening $7 before starting at $4.40 with Lucky Fish having really good specking being $41 into $10.

Race 9 – BONNY O’REILLY $3, won from MACHINEGUN JUBS, IN TIMES OF WAR.

The winner was very well supported opening at $4.80 before starting at $3 but the best backed runner was the In Times Of War who opened at $8 before starting equal favourite with the winner. Unplaced Nardoo had good specking being $61 into $21.

The Money Was Right: Roguish was $17 into $6.50 before putting a big smile on supporters faces.

Left It In The Bag: Passage Of Time was $15 into $4.80 before finishing 3rd.

Friendless: Machinegun Jubs was $7 out to $21 before rattling home for 2nd.

Race 1 – PROMPT RETURN $3, won from HIDDEN PEARL, DESTIVA.

Prompt Return had solid support opening at $3.80 before starting at $3 with runner up Hidden Pearl always solid around $2.90 mark. Unplaced Top Tone had good support being $13 into $8.50 with Rocky King also well supported being $21 into $10.

Race 2 – SONY LEGEND $9, won from PRIMAL FLIGHT, LONDEHERO.

The winner drifted slightly opening $7 before starting $9 on the back of good support for Primal Flight who was $13 to $6, Londehero who was $8 into $4.60 and unplaced Urban Night who was $26 into $9.

Race 3 – TAKING AIM $3.80, won from DISSOLUTION, LORD CECIL.

Taking Aim had solid support opening at $4.60 before starting $3.80. The best backed runner in the race was Initialze who opened at $15 before getting into $4.80 then out to $8.50 before finishing unplaced. Others with support were Risen and Lord Cecil.

Race 4 – DAWN WALL $3.80, won from THE PINNACLE, CANDIKA.

Dawn Wall opened at $3.60 got out to $4.40 and started at $3.80. Both placegetters had support with The Pinnacle being $9 into $6 and Candika being $5.50 into $3.80. Little support for any other runners.

Religify had good support being $3.60 into $2.90 with Siegfried having good support being $7 into $4.80. Unplaced Casual Choice opened at $41 with good support bringing it into $17.

Race 6 – WITH A PROMISE $67, won from NANCY, ELEGANT COMPOSURE.

With A Promise opened at $71 got out to $101 before good support got it into $51 then drifted back to $67. Sold For Song was the best backed runner in the race opening $15 before starting $4.60. Others who had good support were Elegant Composure who was $7 into $5, Madotti who was $10 into $5.50 and Bindi Babe who was $26 into $11.

Race 7 – IT’S SOMEWHAT $2.20, won from SINGLE GAZE, MAURUS.

It’s Somewhat was easily the best backed runner being $3.80 into $2.20 with Single Gaze having some support being $7 into $5.50. All other runners drifted in the market.

Race 8 – SAVANNA AMOUR $17, won from HEROIC VALOUR, TESSERA.

Savanna Armour was unwanted in the market drifting from $9 to $17 with the runner up Heroic Valour being the best backed runner opening at $8 before heavy support saw it start at $4.20. Others specked in the market were Tessera, All Over Bosanova and Tiyatrolani.

The Money Was Right: It’s Somewhat was the only one they wanted in the Hollindale.
