Group 3 winning bitch Sunset Bourbski is the dog to beat in the opening heat of the Fanta Bale Super Stayers.
The daughter of Fernando Bale was beaten just over a length at Group 1 level at this track and distance last start and she is more than capable at this level.
She has not missed a place in her last four when wearing the yellow rug and looks tough to beat.

No. 2 Sir Truculent – Bet Now: $3.80
Sir Truculent brings some pretty good form into Heat 2 of the Fanta Bale SS having put together two wins in a row in Brisbane over 710m.
Not a lot went right for him when he was well beaten in the Group 1 last time out but he is a far better stayer than that and he represents a bit of value in this race.

BEST BET: No. 7 Shima Shine – Bet Now: $2.25
Shima Shine has managed 30 wins from his 49 career race starts and he became a two time Group 1 winner at Albion Park just two back.
The son of Barcia Bale ticks all the boxes and it is tough to forget his win at Sandown over 515m when he set the second fastest time ever recorded at the T/D last July.
He is the favourite for the Australian Cup Final for a reason and it will take a very good one to beat him in this heat.
