Aston Gwen has hit a purple patch of form in recent times, placing in her last eight race starts.
She has a win and a very narrow second from two starts at the 600m at The Meadows and if she can ping the gates, she will be right in a race of this quality.

BEST BET: No. 2 True Detective – Bet Now: $4.50
The Group 3 Fireball Final is a very open betting race with plenty of winning chances.
True Detective has not had everything go his way at his last couple of starts but he is more than capable of a high rating performance on his day.
He has a winning strike rate of just over 50% for his career and he is every chance of returning to the winning ranks in this contest from a better draw.

No. 3 Simon Told Helen – Bet Now: $2.05
The Group 1 Maturity Classic Final is another very competitive betting race but I’ve gone with the class runner of the race.
Three time Group 1 winner Simon Told Helen is the obvious one for me as he has the runs on the board at the highest level.
He will have an awkward draw to contend with but his class will take him a long way.
