Greyhound Racing Tips & Best Bets – Thursday 23rd April, 2020

Thursday will see a host of quality greyhound races with our focus being on Albion Park in Queensland. Take a look at our greyhound tips and best bets for Thursday 23rd April, 2020.

Albion Park: Race 1 (6:49PM)

Tip: No. 2 Blue Bandana – Bet Now: $5.00

Blue Bandana earned an impressive maiden win in his last start over the distance and looks the one to beat again from Box 2. The son of Barcia Bale got away slowly in the early goings but made up plenty of ground over the final 100m to beat home Ginger Ginger by 2.5L. Pump It has placed in his last two starts over the distance at Ipswich, while Aristocratic Gal is worth a look in the minors with a win over the course and distance back in September.

Albion Park: Race 4 (7:49PM)

Tip: Same Race Multi – Bet Now

It’s A Trick is out to make it three in a row under trainer Robert Jacobsen and I’m finding it tough to fault the three-year-old. He won impressively by 11.8L over the distance two starts back and followed that performance up with a classy 3L victory over Always Forever eight days later. Always Forever will have a crack at revenge here and has placed in two of her last three starts over the distance. Techno Hornet was a last start winner over the 710m and is another one that loves Albion Park.

Our Same Race selections:

No. 4 It’s A Trick (To Win)

No. 5 Always Forever (Top 4)

No. 7 Techno Hornet (Top 4)

Albion Park: Race 6 (8:34PM)

Tip: No. 4 Let’s Go Ozzi – Bet Now: $3.50

Let’s Go Ozzi has some serious form over this track and has been thereabouts over the distance. He won over 520m at Albion Parl back in March and has placed in four of his five starts since. The two-year-old son of Magic Sprite has always shown exceptional early speed and he rates very highly to win at a decent price.

Albion Park: Race 8 (9:16PM)

Tip: No. 7 Big Boy Bruce (Each-Way) – Bet Now: $34.00

Big Boy Bruce found no luck stepping up to the 520m last week but he should go one better this time around. He’s won 12 times before over the distance and often takes a couple of starts to adjust up in trip. Placed in six consecutive starts between the 14th of February and the 12th of March, so looks a good each-way bet.
