Speed Of Sound has just the two wins to her name from 13 career race starts but she is a filly with some ability.

She dominated her rivals two starts back at Bathurst over the short course when scoring by 15 meters and if she can replicate that performance in this race, she will be in it for a long way.

This two year old gelding by Captaintreacherous is making his debut for the Kevin Pizzuto and is one of the leading chances.

He has showed some promise in two recent trials at Menangle over the 1609m and we are tipping he can make a winning start to his career.
