Thursday will see a host of quality harness races with our focus being on the meetings at Shepparton in Victoria. Take a look at our harness tips and best bets for Thursday 15th October, 2020.
Shepparton – Race 5 8:30PM AEST
No. 3 Rossini – Bet Now: $2.60
Rossini has returned three very nice efforts so far this prep including a dominant 12.5 meter win over 1740m at Wagga last start.
The five year old gelding is capable of producing a high rating performance on his day and he is more than capable of winning a race of this quality with even luck.
Shepparton – Race 6 9:00PM AEST
EACH WAY: No. 7 Theultimate – Bet Now: $15.00
Theultimate put together a really nice campaign last prep winning two of her three starts before going for a spell.
The lightly raced four year old mare is already a Group 3 winner and has managed three wins from her last four starts.
She represents good value at the double figures in this contest and there has been some early support in betting suggesting she is ready to go first up.
Shepparton – Race 8 10:00PM AEST
BEST BET: No. 6 Kalarney Heidi – Bet Now: $4.60
We have a false favourite in the last race of the day at Shepparton and I’m keen to take Allwoods Sunbeam on.
Kalarney Heidi looks the obvious one in this event having broken through for a much deserved win last start at Bendigo and the six year old mare should be plenty fit for this contest.
