Assassinator managed a win at this track and distance back in January by over 10 metres before tackling a couple of Group races.
This is a fair easier task then those couple of races and if he can produce a run like his last start fourth, he will go close in a race of this quality.
Melton – Race 5 7:40PM AEST
No. 3 Endeavour Stride – Bet Now: $3.90
Endeavour Stride put together two impressive wins to kick start this campaign making it three from seven overall for the four year old gelding.
He is clearly a talented young horse with plenty of potential and there has been some early support for him in this contest which suggests he will run well again.
Melton – Race 6 8:10PM AEST
No. 9 Cut From Rock – Bet Now: $2.80
Cut From Rock has been racing pretty consistently in recent times at both Melton and Shepparton and she again looks well placed in this event.
She was a winner by over 17 metres two back at Shepparton over 2190m and a repeat of that performance would see her go close here.
