Menangle – Race 2 5:48PM AEST

BEST BET: No. 3 Mango Stride – Bet Now: $2.45

Mango Stride returned to the races in good order last month when sixth over the 2300m in a Group 3. He went one better second-up placing behind Redbank Addi over the 1609m and now looks ready to win from an inside alley. The six-year-old is a five times winner over the distance and has won four times in 20 starts at Menangle.

Menangle – Race 4 6:48PM AEST

No. 10 Speak No Evil – Bet Now: $2.50

Speak No Evil was the beaten favourite in his last start over the mile finishing dead last in a No NR on May 2. He gets his chance to bounce-back though stepping up beyond the 2000m for the first time this prep, and if he gets away quickly from the gates again, he should prove tough to beat. The five-year-old won five consecutive starts between 2100-2200m last time in, so this certainly isn’t beyond him.

Menangle – Race 6 7:50PM AEST

No. 7 Cruz – Bet Now: $2.80

New Zealand gelding Cruz looks a serious chance in the sixth at Menangle with some strong form lines around the distance. He was a winner four starts back as the odds-on favourite, and wasn’t disgraced running second to Jack Farthing in his last start stepping up to the 2300m. The six-year-old is a four-times winner on this track and he looks good money to challenge the favourite My Field Marshal.
