Stunin Magic has rattled off a couple of wins over the track and distance since returning to the races in September and there is everything to suggest she can add a third.

The five-year-old mare has found the money in six of her 13 runs to date and is much better than her last start suggests.

Newcastle – Race 5 7:09PM AEST

No. 3 Second Major – Bet Now: $9.50

Second Major was no match first-up over the track and distance behind Shannonstheman, but I’m happy to give him another chance based on his strong second-up record.

The old boy is an eight-time winner over this trip and absolutely loves racing at Newcastle. If he establishes a spot up on the pace early, he should prove tough to hold out.

No. 1 Lincs Poor Boy – Bet Now: $19.00

Lincs Poor Boy won his last start over the track and distance by a comfortable 5m over the mile and there is nothing to suggest he can’t replicate that performance.

The four-year-old has placed in two of his four runs over this trip and should take a power of beating here with fitness on his side.
