Myboyroy was disappointing in his first two runs this prep but returned to a semblance of his best form last time out when finishing second at Albury.

He has just the single win from 16 career race starts but that was a 16 metre romping at this track and distance back in August 2020.

Shepparton – Race 5 7:21PM AEST

BEST BET: No. 2 Melinka – Bet Now: $16.00

Melinka was well beaten by The Longest Day when they met last start at this circuit but the six year old mare is capable of a high rating performance on her day.

She will get all the favours that come with starting on the pegs and she represents good value at her current quote.

Shepparton – Race 6 7:51PM AEST

No. 7 Allwoods Sunbeam – Bet Now: $3.10

Allwoods Sunbeam has been placed in four of her last five with the only unplaced run coming at Group 3 level.

She put together back to back wins at this track and distance back in December and although she will be required to come off the 20m handicap, she will be tough to beat in a race of this quality.
