Do Ball returned to the races with a narrow defeat first up at this track and distance before an impressive win over the 2300m last start.

The five year old gelding has won just three times in 39 career race starts but is more than capable in a race of this quality.

Menangle – Race 2 2:10PM AEST

BEST BET: No. 4 Equity Stride – Bet Now: $1.60

Equity Stride was denied narrowly on debut at this track and distance two weeks ago and the three year old gelding looks well placed here.

They ran a very quick 1:53.8 for the mile, coming home in 28.1 for the final quarter that day and a repeat of that effort will see him go close here.

Menangle – Race 4 3:20PM AEST

No. 10 Cheesy Fingers – Bet Now: $SP.00

Cheesy Fingers has returned after a lengthy spell with two third placings at this track and distance and will be ready to peak now at her third run this prep.

She has a difficult draw but she is a classy mare who has plenty of wins in her.
