The Inter Dominion Championship will not take place in 2020 with organisers deciding to push the event back 12 months due to the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The qualifying races for the Inter Dominion series were set to take place in late November and early December with the final taking place at Menangle on December 12.

Menangle will host the Inter Dominion Final in 2021 with the current rotation moved back a year.

Harness Racing Australia statement:

The Inter Dominion Event Committee (IDEC) met earlier today to consider an application from the Inter Dominion Host Partners to postpone the 2020 Inter Dominion Championships.

The Event Committee accepted the application in the absence of any practical alternatives to conduct a Championship in 2020.  In effect, the current rotation will move back one year, with Harness Racing New South Wales and Club Menangle co-hosting the event in 2021.
