ROSEHILL

Rail Position – True

Track Condition – Good 3
Best Bet – Race 9 #13 Siren’s Fury

Value bet – Race 6 #2 Social Eement

Race 1 – 12:05PM Two-Year-Old Plate (1100m)

No. 4 Neutrality showed nice ability in his only trial at Wyong. The Snowden team will have this horse ready to fire and Damian Brown is a great booking. No. 2 Catanzaro didn’t have much luck last start at Randwick, but I like the way he found the line.  He is fitter now and the rise in trip suits. No. 5 Stunts is fitter now after a nice debut effort. He will get back and run on strongly.

Selections: 4 – 2 – 5 – 3

Betting strategy: Back the 4 to win

Race 2 – 12:40PM Benchmark 75 Handicap (1300m)

No. 7 Unforgotten got back in a small field and unleashed a very nice turn of foot to win well first-up. He should be ready to peak now and the bigger track is a plus. No. 8 Rekindled Force is still learning, but I have really liked this colts last two wins. He should get a nice run throughout and this distance looks perfect. No. 2 Beacon is a consistent horse who will run another honest race this weekend.

Selections: 7 – 8 – 2 – 3

Betting strategy: Back the 7 to win

Race 3 – 1:20PM Benchmark 85 Handicap (1100m)

No. 8 Best Guess should be ready to peak now after two very nice runs back from a spell. He comes in well at the weights after the claim and barrier one ensures a lovely run throughout. No. 6 Waitandwatch has won his past four in very nice style and his recent trial suggests that he has come back well again, this time in. No. 5 Pomelo is a talented mare that had no luck last start, so just put a pen through that run.

Selections: 8 – 6 -5 -2

Betting strategy: Back 8 to win and 6 each way

Race 4 – 2:00PM Handicap (1800m)

No. 5 Collateral is a talented stayer that ran home strongly first-up at Randwick. His second-up record is great and this trip suits. No. 6 black On Gold is ready to peak now and No. 4 Prince Cheri could run a huge race at nice odds.

Selections: 5 – 6 – 4 – 3

Betting strategy: Back the 5 to win

Race 5 – 2:45PM Highway Handicap (1200m)

No. 1 Realing is a talented animal that could easily win this race if he can get some luck from the wide draw. His recent trial was good and this trip suits. No. 7 Equal Balance is a lightly raced animal that should be ready to peak fourth-up, on Saturday and No. 3 I Am Captain is a very consistent horse who should get a gun just behind the speed.

Selections: 1 – 7 – 3 – 6

Betting strategy: Small win bet on No. 1

Race 6 – 3:25PM BENCHMARK 80 HANDICAP (1800m)

No. 2 Social Element is a very tough animal that has shown above average ability in his first prep. His form has been good and I like that he drops back to this trip. I would like to see Rachel King take off early and make it a true staying test. No. 3 Impavido is ready to win now, but he just needs some luck from the wide barrier and No. 4 Carzoff is fitter now after a very unlucky run last start in Queensland.

Selections: 2 – 3 – 4 -7

Betting strategy: Back the 2 each way

Race 7 – 4:10PM BENCHMARK 82 HANDICAP (1100m)

No. 6 Slow Burn is a very talented horse that should be very hard to catch over this distance. She is ready to peak now and I am happy to forgive her last start effort at Canterbury.   Her second-up record is good and I think her class will take her a long way in this race. No. 11 Picardy Rose will be better suited over further, but her recent trial was good and it wouldn’t shock me if she ran over the top of this field. No. 2 In Times Of War is ever consistent but always seems to find one better.

Selections: 6 – 11 – 2- 4

Betting strategy: Quniella 6 & 11

Race 8 – 4:55PM BENCHMARK 92 HANDICAP (1200m)

No. 10 Magic Alibi drops in grade after running seventh in the Golden Pendant last start at Rosehill. She is fitter now, drawn well and comes in with no weight on her back after Brock Ryan’s claim. No. 2 Isorich is a bloody tough animal that keeps trying all the way to the line. His last two wins have been great and I think we will get juicy odds again this Saturday. No. 9 Zumbelina is a consistent animal that will appreciate racing back on her home track.

Selections: 10 – 2 – 9 – 11

Betting strategy: Back the 10 to win

Race 9 – 5:40PM BENCHMARK 83 HANDICAP (1400m)

No. 13 Siren’s Fury comes into this second-up after a very nice run in the Nivison last start. She is fitter now, drawn well and her 1400m record is very good. No. 5 Astara will run a much improved race now that she is fitter and No. 10 Gambler’s Blues has trialled well leading into this first-up run.

Selections: 13 – 5 – 10 – 7

Betting strategy: Back the 13 to win
