Best bet – Race 6 #7 Star Crossed $3.30 bet now

Value Bet – Race 4 #9 Princess Freya $9.50 bet now

Race 1 – 12:35PM MAIDEN PLATE (1200 METRES)

No. 1 Metamorphic resumes after showing above average ability in his first-prep. His two trials this time in have been very good and I think we might see a more mature galloper this time in. No. 4 Midnight Delight is another Waller galloper who resumes in this on the back of two recent trials. She is looking for further, but she has some class and I expect her to be running on strongly late. No. 5 Sepoy Acheva is a consistent filly who should be ready to run a big race fresh after two nice trials. Drawn well.

Back the 1 if you like taking short odds @ $1.65 bet now

Race 2 – 1:10PM HANDICAP (1550 METRES)

No. 9 All Too Soon is a well bred filly who ran a cracking race on debut at Rosehill. The stable will have her fitter now and the rise in trip looks ideal. No. 7 Regal Cannon showed good ability in his debut run at this track last start. He will be a better horse next prep, but I wouldn’t be shocked if this animal ran a huge race over this much preferred distance. No. 1 Hypnotist is unbeaten after two nice wins at Beaumont. This is harder, but he is a nice horse who should get the run of the race from the nice barrier.

Back the 9 at $5.50 bet now and 7 to win at $5.50 bet now

Race 3 – 1:50PM BENCHMARK 67 HANDICAP (1250 METRES)

No. 1 Reach For Heaven returned with a dominant win first-up at Newcastle and if he can repeat that effort again than he should be very hard to beat. No. 5 Awoke is a serious animal who has had two nice trials this time in. Her form last prep was good and she has drawn well, but she does need to produce her best in this if she is going to win some better races. No. 3 Intueri has trialled well leading into this race, but he will need some luck from the awkward draw.

Back the 1 to win at $3 bet now

Race 4 – 2:25PM BENCHMARK 67 HANDICAP (1200 METRES)

No. 9 Princess Freya resumes for her new stable and I have really liked her recent trials. She is a lightly raced filly who has good upside and the gun draw ensures a lovely run throughout. No. 7 Perizada returned with a nice effort first-up at Wagga. She is fitter now and her second-up record is good. No. 2 Star Reflection is racing consistently, but I think this mare is under the odds and that is why I am happy to bet around her.

Back the 9 each way $9.50 bet now

Race 5 – 3:05PM BENCHMARK 72 HANDICAP (1550 METRES)

No. 6 All In The Reflexs is racing consistently, drawn well and I like that Tim Clark goes on her back. No. 1 Balmain Boy ran a much improved race last start and will appreciate the 2kg claim off his back. No. 4 Speed Hero is racing well and he will appreciate the drop in grade. Drawn well.

Small bet on the 6 to win $4.80 bet now

Race 6 – 3:40PM BENCHMARK 72 HANDICAP (1100 METRES)

No. 7 Star Crossed went forward and gave a big kick to win well first-up at Wyong. This is harder, but he is a talented animal who has plenty of speed and this trip suits. No. 10 Nassak showed good ability in her first prep and I like that she has had two trials in readiness for this first-up run. She should get a lovely run just behind the speed. No. 5 Legerity looks ready to go first-up, but this colt just needs a touch of luck from the awkward draw.

Back the 7 to win $3.40 bet now

Race 7 – 4:20PM BENCHMARK 67 HANDICAP (1250 METRES)

No. 6 Viceroy should be hard to beat in the last because he is a very fit horse who should get a perfect run throughout from the inside draw. If Bowman can get him out and going a bit earlier than he should be very hard to run down. No. 10 Tip Top has been good in all three runs back this prep and he should get a perfect run just behind the speed. No. 12 Boys Day Out is fitter now and he is a tough horse that will make his own luck up on the speed.

Back the 6 to win $3 bet now
