Race 1 – 11:35 AM HANDICAP (1200 METRES)

No. 2 Assimilate trialled well on two occasions before his good debut win at Kembla. This is much tougher but he has a nice ability and this colt should get a lovely run throughout. No. 4 Colosimo resumes for her new stable and her two recent trials have been very good. She is a nice filly in the making and I expect her to be more mature this time in. No. 1 Dracarys won well on debut and then was outclassed in the Skyline earlier this year. He should be ready to go after two recent trials, but I would have liked to see him over a shorter distance. No. 6 Gresham ran on well from the back first-up at Kembla. Fitter now and drawn to be closer to the speed.

Back the 2 to win  $5 bet now

Race 2 – 12:10 PM HIGHWAY HANDICAP (1400 METRES)

No. 11 Gentle Annie is a lightly raced filly who has won her last two in a nice style. She hasn’t been beating much, but she has drawn to get a perfect run and I think she is well over the odds. No. 4 Suncraze is highly talented, but this horse is a massive tease. If he can put it all together then he would blow this field away. No. 9 On The Fiddle scored a nice win last start, but he does need a ton of luck from the wide draw.

Small bet on the 11 each way  $17 bet now

Race 3 – 12:45 PM BENCHMARK 85 HANDICAP (1100 METRES)

No. 7 Clipper is a talented filly who hasn’t missed a placing in all seven career starts. Her last start effort in Melbourne was good, but I think she will be better suited back on a soft track in Sydney. No. 2 Magic Alibi is a tough mare who returned to her best at Rosehill last start. She is ready to peak now, but the drop back in trip is a slight concern. No. 1 Memes is flying this time in and I like her dropping back in trip. No. 8 Nassak resumes and her recent trials suggest that she can run a huge race fresh.

Back the 7 to win  $3.4 bet now

Race 4 – 1:20 PM BENCHMARK 75 HANDICAP (1000 METRES)

No. 5 Super Too comes into this first-up after two very nice trials at Warwick Farm. She is a very serious horse who should get every chance from the gun draw. No. 3 Star Crossed has come back well this time in and he will make his own luck upon the speed, but I don’t think he can match it with Super Too. No. 2 Lion Couchant is tough on pace galloper who rarely runs a bad race and No. 9 Cudabeen must be included in everything because she is racing like a more mature filly this time in.

Back the 5 to win  $2.7 bet now

Race 5 – 1:55 PM BENCHMARK 78 HANDICAP (1200 METRES)

No. 10 Chatuchak had no luck when resuming at Canterbury earlier this month. Her second-up record is good and the drop in weight is a big plus. No. 2 Spending To Win raced well first-up, but he was no match for Kings Of Leon. He is fitter now and his draw ensures a perfect run. No. 8 Super Star Bob resumes after showing nice ability in his first prep. This is a tough ask first-up, but he must be working well if he has come to town on a Saturday. No. 7 Parlay Vous has to be respected now that he is fitter after a nice first-up effort.

Back the 10 each way  $8 bet now

Race 6 – 2:35 PM HANDICAP (1800 METRES)

No. 5 Liapari has been up for a long time, but this gelding is still racing like a fit/healthy galloper. His win the last start was good and the rise in the trip this Saturday should be ideal. No. 3 Man Of His Word worked home well from the back of the field last Saturday at Rosehill. He is looking for this trip now and the barrier ensures a nice run throughout. No. 8 So Willie always runs a brave race and he will appreciate the drop in weight. No. 1 Sound Proposition won well last start, but the big weight and wide barrier are a big concern.

Small bet on the 5 to win  $4 bet now

Race 7 – 3:15 PM JULY SPRINT (1100 METRES)

No. 4 Reldas has done enough this prep to suggest that he can run a huge race from the gun draw on Saturday. He is a good horse on his day and I always respect this stable when they bring one up the highway. No. 3 Boss Lane was only fair the last start at Grafton, but I am happy to give this horse another chance back on his home track. Drawn well and the 1.5kg claim is a nice help. No. 2 Felines is racing consistently, but I think the big weight will take the zip out of her legs. No. 8 Petrossian won well last start, but the drop back in trip is a worry.

Back the 4 to win  $4.8 bet now

Race 8 – 3:55 PM BENCHMARK 81 HANDICAP (1200 METRES)

No. 6 Bolero King has always shown nice ability and his two runs back this prep have been very good. He is still learning, but he has drawn to get a lovely run and the bigger track on Saturday is a big help. No. 8 Kings Of Leon is the best horse in the race, but I am worried that he might get back too far from the wide gate and the lack of speed up front is a big worry. No. 7 Torpenhow returned to his best last with a nice win at Canterbury. He is better suited to the shorter trips and his barrier ensures a soft run. No. 9 Choice Larga can put his best foot forward now that he has had two runs back from a spell.

Back the 6 to win  $4 bet now

Race 9 – 4:35 PM BENCHMARK 85 HANDICAP (1500 METRES)

No. 15 Steyne is a lightly raced gelding who has won two from two this prep in very nice style. This is his toughest test to date, but he has drawn perfectly and the light weight on his back is a nice bonus. No. 16 Imani should have won first-up, but this gelding was given no hope from the back of the field. He is fitter now and this galloper will adore no weight on his back. No. 8 Hollywood Bound did nothing first-up, but I am happy to give him another chance because he is fitter, drawn well and the rise in trip suits. No. 12 Dubaiinstyle will run a much-improved race now that he is fitter.

Back the 15 to win and have something on the 16 each way  $3.4 bet now
